Kenna Temesgen, MBA

Entrepreneurial roots:

I grew up in an entrepreneurial household, watching my father leave his corporate career to build and scale two business. That experience shaped my respect for ownership and drove my decision to acquire and operate a business directly, taking personal responsibility for its people, performance, and long-term success.

Immigrant perspective:

I moved from Ethiopia to TN in high school, an experience that helped me develop resilience and a strong work ethic.

Strategic and operational experience:

I've advised Fortune 500 companies at a top global consulting firm on strategy, operations, and technology transformations.

Proven problem solver:

I've managed teams and led complex, cross-functional programs of up to $262M through disciplined analysis, strong execution, and attention to detail.

Parent and community-oriented:

Naz and I are parents to a spirited 2.5yo daughter and actively serve in our church's children's ministry. This helps us both ground our approach to ownership - focusing on people and continuity.

Naz Habte, MSW

Competitive athlete:

I played soccer competitively, including at the collegiate level, and served as captain of my high school team. This experience established my leadership style and reinforced discipline, accountability, and performing under pressure.

Ownership Perspective:

I'm the son of immigrant refugee parents who took the risk of starting a franchise business. Watching their courage, sacrifices, and resilience has shown me the realities business owners face (success and setbacks alike).

People-first foundation:

I began my career in mental health, earning a Master of Social Work (MSW) and working directly with individuals and families. That experience sharpened my ability to listen deeply and lead with empathy.

Passion for family stability:

I'm deeply committed to supporting mental health and helping families stay together. I've led multiple workshops within the Ethiopian community focused on strengthening parent-child relationships and building healthy family systems.

Operational and execution experience:

I later transitioned into project management at a global technology organization, where I led large-scale technology and business transformations - partnering closely with leaders to modernize systems and improve execution across people, process, and technology.
